Dusty looked around his surroundings as he rode the horseless carriage, he'd seen the Forbidden Forest many times when he went to Hogwarts, I mean, who hasn't? He just wanted to distract himself from the fight with Seamus, he probably didn't even make a good first impression on the first-years and he very much regretted that.

Seamus read his magic herb book as he was riding the carriage, he didn't really care for these rides, he just wanted to get to Hogwarts quickly somehow. What's worse is that Dusty was riding next to him, he wished he could jump him from his carriage, but he knew his goons/friends were riding behind him, so they could easily do that for him at his command.
