Hye-Jin had spent the whole carriage journey sketching and peeking at the Thestrals. Noting down details that most wouldn't see without being blessed (or cursed, one of the two) of being able to view them. The journey was too short though, and she had hovered slightly after everyone left to note the last details before hurrying to the school. She paused outside, taking a small breath, then straightened her back and raised her head, strolling in and entering the school and then the hall. 

The Korean girl made her way to the Slytherin table, but she paused at the top of the table and held a stare with one of the prefect girls sitting at the head of the table. There was a small pause around them, as both girls were known to not get along, but Hye-Jin eventually just gave a slow nod before striding past them moving further down the table to sit around people she knew. Taking out her notebook again and making notes around the sketch she made earlier until the Headmistress spoke.

As kids were lead to the hut, Hye-Jin kept her eyes on them. Listening to where they were lead, especially the older girls who were exchange students like she was a few years ago. The ones that were announced for Slytherin received the slightest of nods from the girl, not the most welcoming but not the icy stare she gave kids the previous year.

Once all the kids had been sorted she finally looked at the food, and there was the smallest frown as she started self plating vegetables and chicken.
