What's the date this is running off? Cause two posts one in New York and the other in Siberia reference it currently being Winter.

To be clear I'm familiar that Canada (at least the bits I was writing in) aren't some winter wonderland in August/September I'm querying what the current IC date is because as mentioned several different posts refer to different seasons and all are in Northern Hemisphere locations.
