She is gentle, and soft spoken, very rarely leaving the lagoon unless she is called on by someone outside of her home. She much prefers animals to anyone else and finds herself usually staying holed up in her home after a days work, enjoying her solitary life. [b]Talent(s)[/b]: ✧[i][u]Bioluminescent manipulation[/u][/i]-she has the ability to cultivate and control the bioluminescent organisms in the water, creating beautiful light shows at night or guiding lost creatures in the darkness. ✧[i][u]Mud and sediment manipulation[/u][/i]- Maggie also has the power to shape the muddy bottom of the lagoon, usually to build homes, or create fertile ground for unique aquatic plants. [b]Job in the Hollow[/b]: Home builder for creatures, but at times she works with fast-flying fairies to create storms on the mainland. [b]Family[/b]: None, as most fairies, she was born from a laugh and has no biological family. Although part of her has always wanted to find the child who’s laugh she came from. [b]Friends[/b]: Also none, at least, no fairies that are her friends. Acquaintances sure, but no friends. Except for a small frog that was stunted at its hatching. She found it’s egg cracked and took it home with her. She named him Muricle. [b]Voice Claim[/b]: AURORA [b]Vocal Description[/b]: Magnolia speaks in a sort of airy manner, especially when talking to new people. Her words are tied together in almost a melodious way, never too fast, but thought out. This is because when she was a new comer, living by herself, she would speak to imaginary people, and that is where she gained her tone. Very rarely does she ever raise her voice, if she does, it is because someone important to her is in danger, and when this happens and she does yell, her voice is a bit raspy and almost strained from not using in that way at all. [b]Fears[/b]: ✧ [i][u]Enochlophobia[/u][/i]-fear of large crowds ✧ [i][u]Pyrophobia[/u][/i]-fear of fire ✧ [i][u]Achluophobia[/u][/i]-fear of darkness [b]History[/b]: Magnolia was born, as most fairies are, from a child’s first laugh. Her small flower seed flew miles, ending up in the center of the Hollow Tree, and there, she was greeted with many others. At first, she was scared, terrified even, like a lost child who couldn’t find home…but the princess, now Queen, Celine, gently ushered others out, letting only the council in. There, Maggie was called to a lilly pad, and was henceforth a Lagoon Fairy. She got the hang of her role in the Lagoon quickly, never talking much, just working, and going home. Soon, she caught the eye of a Microbe Mender the went by the name of Islwyn. He was a cruel man but sure knew how to charm the young fairy girl, and soon had her ensnared in false love. He showed his true colors rather fast, asking her mockingly why she seemed to be so silent even when his fists fell like crashing pylons. This drew her further into her shell of self comfort and dislike of others, and finally one day, he left her, going after the newest and most vulnerable fairy in the Lagoon. Magnolia didn’t know what to do, or if she should warm the other girl, if the others would even believe her. Currently, she is working on a plan. One that would rid the lagoon of Islwyn forever. Once a year she grants ten wishes from her subjects, allowing them to achieve their goals and dreams. At first, she was a small thing, an ant on the surface of the world. She found places to hide, ways to survive. She made friends in any place she went, and the occasional enemy because of her blunt nature. She was though, alone. No matter what animal or insect she came across and befriended, she was the only creature of her kind. Often she would stare at the sky, to afraid to fly up, high enough to the stars and ask them why she was sent here to simply…be alone. Soon, the young fairy came across a large tree, an oak, powerful and sturdy. There, she made her home. It was empty, but it was hers. One day though, that ended. It took thousands of lonely years, but at noon on what Celine called a ‘Thursday’ she was met with the seed of a dandelion. That dandelion then woke up, dust flying around her, waking a young red haired fairy. It was a girl, small and smiling, with wide eyes. Celine was overjoyed, confused of course, but all of the strangeness was pushed aside, for she was finally not alone. Celine named the girl after the seed she came from, Dandelion, and only more fairies continued after. Soon, a community started, and Celine, blessed with a dream of the fairies future, began to assign jobs and responsibilities to the eldest fairies in the Hollow. As she traveled to the mainland, she picked up more terms as society grew. At first, she was known as a princess, but once she learned about the full extent of royal families, she became the Queen of the Hollow.
