"I'm actually done for the semester, but...I don't know. Maybe. Some of our friends might have. If we can find that river tomorrow, we can be home by the end of the day. I don't know how things are going to go with us being...werewolves, but...I'm just glad you're safe. Let's...let's just get some rest." Sam said, closing his eyes and trying to empty his mind enough to get to sleep. His mind kept going back to Stevie and the excitement he felt from holding her so closely, but the sheer exhaustion he felt eventually pushed him to sleep. --- Sam awoke the next morning with the sun shining into his eyes, its rays warming his body to a much more agreeable temperature than the previous night. His heart raced once he opened his eyes and saw Stevie beside him, but after a moment, he remembered the events that put them in that position. For a few moments, he wanted nothing more than to stay in that position forever, to continue holding her tightly in his grasp. Eventually, however, he relented and started to try and get his arm out from underneath her, an act that would certainly awaken her.
