[indent][I]Megan is a below average girl (5'0) with a lithe figure owing to a life on the streets. Her natural black hair has been dyed a variety of colours but currently is a mix of dark purples and blues, and her eyes are a deep blue. Her ears are pierced but she currently has no piercings in them having had them taken out after being arrested and no replacements yet. Her clothes are a mess of older style shirts, jeans and anything else she could find or had donated to her, but she's managed to create a look out of it that doesn't entirely scream 'homeless' despite her current living situation.[/I][/indent]

[U]Characteristics[/U]
[indent][i][s]Melody[/s] Megan comes across as rude and uncaring, prone to snapping at people and difficult to be around. A troublemaker with temper problems she gets called. However, this is due to her life up until this point, having spent a lot of time both on the streets and in gangs needing to stand up for herself and having trust issues due to it. She is surprisingly well spoken though, hinting towards at least a partially good education. 

When not being 'a troublemaker' Megan is quiet and focused. Always watching around her, as if looking for the first exit she can find to escape. More surprisingly, for a girl that has got herself into this level of trouble, she is incredibly intelligent and could clearly go far in life if she so wanted.

Past this however is a girl that's very clearly been hurt a lot but wants to be better. She always keeps her word, and when she trusts someone or befriends them she'll stand up for them and defend them.

[U]Goals and aspirations[/U]
[indent][i]More than anything Megan just wants to escape the pit she's managed to find herself in. Having hit rock bottom, and no support around her, she hopes she can climb out and make something with her life. Maybe finish education, get a job. It's a small hope.[/i][/indent]

[indent][i]Megan has never had a 'real' job. She spent a lot of her childhood at a private boarding school, but she never officially finished.[/i][/indent]

[U]Crime[/U]
[indent][i]The only thing that they have managed to convict Megan for is 5 different counts of theft, despite also being arrested for other more serious crimes. Some cases are still ongoing but unlikely to be convicted due to lack of evidence pointing her at the crimes over other members.[/i][/indent]

[U]Background[/U]
[indent][i]Megan, or Melody by her real name, was born in London to a wealthy family. Although planned, the nine months from conception to birth had seen a company boom, her father being on the board of directors for an international arms manufacturer and her mother having to take leave from a highly paid job at a banking firm to have Melody and her brother Mason. This meant that before the twins were even a year old their parents had arranged for full time care for them and as they got older the amount of time spent with their parents became less and less. At the age of 7 both Melody and Mason were sent to the Royal Alexandra boarding school. While Mason adapted and thrived, Melody struggled. She wasn't good at making friends, and ended up getting into arguments and fights which caused her parents no end of problems until she was threatened with explusion after getting into a physical fight with another girl. At this point, her parents threatened to disown her entirely.

The next few years of school life she managed to avoid getting into too much more trouble. Melody was more quiet, she focused on her studies and she started to excel. This however made her the target of bullies, and with nobody to help her she eventually lashed out again, and at the age of 13 found herself suspended from the school for a month and, in the words of her parents, 'no longer a Lavin'. With nobody watching over her, Melody started to spend more time on the streets than at home. She made friends with the wrong kinda people, got into fights more often, and despite being allowed back into school she was expelled for good after an incident where she set another girls hair on fire.

After that, her parents enrolled her into the first public school that would accept her and left her in the care of carers that had little interest looking after a 14 year old reject. Melody stopped attending school, and started spending even more time in the gang of so called friends she made. Stealing, getting into fights, she got lost in the wrong crowd, and she was smart enough to avoid being caught for many years. Eventually however she was arrested along with several members of the gang for an incident which left 2 people dead. 

Melody, or Megan as she was going by at this point, had no involvement in the incident. She didn't even know it had happened, and it was a shock to her to find out she was being tried as part of a group for murder. She confessed to stealing from stores, both items and money, and cut an agreement with the police to help them get a conviction on who the ringleaders of the gang were. This allowed her to get a shorter sentance for what she could be convicted for. Her parents did not even attend the hearing, only sending a note to say she was who she said she was and that's it.[/i][/indent]


[U]Power[/U]
[indent][i][b]Blending and vanishing[/b]: Megan has the ability to both blend into her surroundings and become entirely invisible, although she doesn't have good control over the blending and becomes more of a reaction to situations than a practiced art. With focus, she is able to make items she's holding against her also blend in and vanish, although she needs to be able to lift the item to be able to make it invisible.[/i][/indent]

[U]Skills & Abilities[/U]
[indent][i]While Megan can fight well, her true skills lie in the practiced art of stealing she learnt over the years. She knows how to pick a lock, she's very good at moving quietly while also moving quickly and squeezing through tight spaces, and she has good eyes & ears. She can hide extremely well. After years of living on the streets she is very street smart, and is good at picking up when people are trying to lie or trick her. While not a skill she would likely need, Megan knows how to operate a gun after being taught by one of the gang leaders who was making moves on her.[/i][/indent]
