In some ways it hurt to see what was probably another failed relationship for her sister, but she didn't feel like ruining her night. Either night, really. Lily was probably already going to be in a bad mood. This is why I don't pursue romance to the degree that she's decided on. That wasn't saying much, Eva realized, considering she'd stayed mostly single her whole life. She'd dated once in 9th grade and it had gone so far South that she hadn't tried it again. She took a few more minutes before doing what was probably the responsible thing and going to find Lily. The least she could do was make sure her sister was alright. Being ignored by her wasn't normal, though very little about their relationship was "normal." She passed their mother in the kitchen and said hello briefly, inquiring as to what was for dinner(lasagna[sup](a great idea in Eva's opinion)[/sup]) before moving to check the living room then Lily's room. She had to be in one of those places, right? There weren't many rooms in the house.
