Couldn't these two concepts still work if that Odin is a future version of [@Dark Light]'s Odin? Therefore allowing a time displaced Thor to interact with a younger version of his father.

This is of course saying you're both okay with Asgard and Earth not flowing through at the same rate. Or some other similar timey whimsy situation.
