Rainier’s smile curled at the edges like the ripple of a drop in still water. Orion was dangerously charming. Tall, dark, and handsome. And he was mysterious enough to pique every one of Rainier’s many curiosities. But Rainier Dewdrop was nothing if not a connoisseur of attention… and he knew how to make an exit when the moment was still glowing. And then he was gone. Floating back through the market, as effortlessly graceful as ever. Back at his little cove-like home tucked behind a waterfall. There was much grumbling. But at least no permanent damage was done. After all of that extra labor, he flopped into a petal-padded seat with a sigh. He picked up a quill and sketchpqd, and he began sketching… not the crystal trinkets. Not the earrings. But a pair of tan arms, a lazy grin, and sharp green eyes. Rainier smirked to himself and whispered, “Not a bad day…” [@Adeline]
