Yankee shall be presenting my lovely daughter in the morning but, here's your Silver rank.....hopefully. Backstory might not be my best work. Usually don't make extra long backstories but wanted to try for this rp.

Name: Vahndesdelca "Vahn" Everbright II
Age: 40
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Rank: Silver
Appearance: A Work of Art Vahn stands tall at 6'3' and with a shredded, muscular frame, his physique a testament to his dedication to martial training. Every muscle is toned to perfection, each part of his body sculpted through dedication. His silver hair is short and thick, keeping his vision clear during combat. His eyes are a mesmerizing grey, sharp and penetrating, reflecting his unwavering determination and undaunting focus. His skin is fair, with a healthy glow that demonstrates his unflinching dedication to his body. All of this combines to present an imposing presence to those that look upon him.
Personality: Vahn is best described as an introverted person. There are few who can coax conversation out of him, giving the appearance that does not want to speak with anyone. Whenever he was within his school, he can been seen meditating or working out. Because of his appearance, many believe him to be a very intimidating person, and feel that whenever they speak to him, he's angry with them. Vahn has a peculiar manner of speech, where he tends to speak in a way that makes it seem like he's quoting things from the books he has read. Despite all this, however, Vahn cares deeply for the safety of the other Adventurers and will go out of his way to assist his fellow colleagues if they are in need of help. Despite all his knowledge, Vahn seems to have a difficult time beginning a conversation with a person, causing many awkward moments during it until it abruptly ends when he gives up. He seems to hold Kora in very high regard, as he calls her his daughter.
Brief Backstory: Born in the Capitol City of Venne, life was always a thrill due to living in the very school that he would come to take later in life. His father, Vahndesdelca Everbright aka Senior, was the presiding grandmaster of the School of Iron Body, whilst unfortunately Vahn never got to meet his mother. His birth came at the cost of his mother, his constitution being too weak due to years of illness, but she never once gave up on her child. The School of Iron Body was situated within the capitol while also being Vahn's home. Few people trained at the school as hand to hand became less and less appealing in an age where swords and magic ruled the land. This fact would never deter Senior from keeping the doors open to all who wanted to learn. From a very early age, Vahn was positioned on the path to be a martial artist. Senior, like his father before him, wanted his son to grow strong and pass on the knowledge of their martial art to his future child. Senior didn't have the heart to see his son undergo the same pain that the boy's mother had undergone, training his son vigorously. Every workout, every pushup, and every stance learned was burned into Vahn's memory, his muscles remembering even when he was too tired to think. This training would be alongside a handful of others, students that believed in the school, but even those students wouldn't be enough to keep themselves fed. Having a wonderful idea, Senior enrolled the entire school with the Adventurer's Guild. Each student was enrolled including a twelve year old Vahn, his father embracing being an Adventurer as a sort of training for the youngster. Due to their low rank, Vahn and crew could only take low level jobs, Senior taking every pre-caution to ensure his students learned but also survived their quests. At first, Vahn adored his father, happy to be an adventurer until that adoration turned to anger, an anger held by each student that they believed his constant oversight was hampering their own journey to mastery. Foolishly, after achieving the rank of Iron, the group took on a mission to help clear a cave system of a band of Goblin Raiders. Vahn felt this was their moment, their chance to show Senior that they were ready. Instead they would come to learn the folly of their ways. As one would could tell from a mile away the quest would go sideways, Vahn leading the charge was quite the possibly the worst choice. He had no understanding of strategy, no idea how to lead effectively, but those students trusted him with their lives. Unfortunately that day would end in tragedy, most falling to an ambush, but one left gravely injured. Senior had arrived too late, a daring rescue for a foolish son, and yet that son would endure the trauma of losing another parent. His father could do so much to protect his son, fighting off the goblins for so long before his son would lose consciousness. The next morning Vahn would awake to a Ingvarr male, Arcadies, and a young female elf mage, Shandra. They gave him a couple moments before telling him of his father's death, his body had been strewn upon his son as a means to protect him. For days Vahn's mind was broken, his tears overflowing, and he couldn't think straight. He had failed them and lost the man that loved him most. This bout of depression would finally be defeated once he held a talk with the only surviving member of the school. The student harbored no ill will toward his friend, only helping him realize that his father would not give in even after losing his wife, and so shouldn't Vahn. This would be spark to get the boy to stand tall for the first time in a week, life would have to go on, and Arcadies would over see that Vahn would grow at an exponential rate. Time would pass over the next several years as Vahn had befriended Arcadies, and Shandra. Arcadies took it upon himself to help a young boy find his purpose, and aid him in his training. His reason? Helping those in need was his purpose for someone had done the same for him once upon a time. Helping Vahn perfect his body was his goal since he knew nothing of the martial arts. Shandra on the other hand grew closer with the growing martial artist, creating a bond that would blossom into love. Eventually Vahn would return home with his newfound family in tow, his family place kept to a minimum level of cleanliness by his neighbors who had known Vahn's father as a man of conviction and kindness. Time would fly for another several years until around the age 27 for the now experienced master of Iron Body. For years he trained, testing his body in every way possible, remembering every thing he was ever taught by his father. He not only trained but, took quests with the Guild alongside Arcadies and Shandra. Eventually he would run into a quest that would change the way he thought about fighting and magic. Having gained the rank of Steel would end in facing a terrorizing beast, a beast that would injure and scar Vahn, but Shandra's magic would keep him safe enough for him to land a fatal blow. This quest would help Shandra and Vahn realize that he needed to add magic to his repertoire as he could do so much as a regular man. While his magic was not his forte, he would train tirelessly to add this to his style of fighting. Life would go on with Vahn having completed several quests, some with a party, and quite a few times on his own. During that time, Arcadies would take his leave to return home, a joyful goodbye between two men who had become brothers. Shandra would also leave periodically to keep up with her family in Felrist. THey both agreed that a relationship would not work at this time so, Vahn was left on his own. Instead of pouting like he would have as a child, he began taking on quests with new parties. Loneliness would come to past with the next revelation in his life. On a quest out the wilderness to hunt a pack of wolves, he would end up coming across the terrifying sight of a young ingvarr girl ready to be devoured by a huge, dangerous looking beast. Adrenaline filled his body and at that moment he knew he had to help the young. Defeating the beast was not a difficult affair, Vahn would hyper focus on getting the young girl to safety. Her wounds would be patched with the limited medical experience and Vahn would start cooking a small stew incase the youngster was hungry. He didn't know it but, fate had plans for the two of them now that they had found each-other. Years would drone on and on, Vahn having taken in Kora, the young girl, after she made it clear that she had no home. Her enthusiasm and sheer persistence helped in beginning her on the road of an Adventurer. Together they would go on quests together, furthering Kora's training and furthering their family bond. Quests upon quests would be completed, Vahn showing why the choice to make him Silver rank was the right choice. One goal was clear, gain notoriety and make famous the Iron Body style.
Equipment: Beyond bringing the basics for survival in the wilderness, Vahn does not carry much. He keeps his things in a small pack that he carries on his back. There is one personal belonging that he keeps on him at all times, a bracelet brimming with magic that acts as a focus.
Skills: Vahn's main talent lies in his mastery of the martial arts. He has worked tirelessly from a young age to achieve the rank of grandmaster, the highest status a top his martial art. The relentless pursuit of perfecting his body has led him down a path that thrives in combat, fighting being the one thing Vahn knows wholeheartedly. His strength, speed and stamina, even for someone his age, is remarkable, allowing him to compete against knights, beasts, and most other manners of creatures. Truthfully there is no such thing as a perfect being, but Vahn ever strives to attain such heights, excelling in ways the average man dreams off. The Iron Body Style is the school of hand to hand combat that he has trained within since he was a small child. A style that harkens on to the user to mold their body as though it was iron, every movement meant to break and rebuild a practitioner. Some styles require you to be like flowing water, but Iron Body asks that you steel yourself and strike like a war hammer. The style emphasizes the usage of stances to create a foundation and abide by to start offense and defense, focusing the usage of the hands for the majority of offense while the legs are reserved for the most devastating of strikes. Holds, locks, and throws are also taught, but primarily as secondary options. Even though the style is rigid, it still leaves openness for the practitioner to mold the style. To supplement his preferred style of combat, Vahn was taught a few spells. Each spell is of a low level meant to enhance his body in various ways, and be quick to cast. He has a very small talent, but would not call himself a mage.
Harden Like Iron - A low level spell that, on cast, causes magic to coalesce through his skin and bones like an armor, making his skin tough like iron. While normally used defensively, this spell can be used to enhance his strikes. By casting this spell, he can increase the impact of his strikes by double. Enhanced Senses - On chant, this spell allows Vahn to manifest magic through one of his senses, enhancing them to levels beyond the average man. He can hear at farther distances and lower decibels, see farther, touch increased to the point he can feel changes in the wind, etc.
Outside of combat, Vahn is quite the cook. From homemade meals in a kitchen to wilderness meals, he has been taught through trial and mostly error the culinary arts. All things require practice, from the martial arts to cooking.
