Julia really didn't want to be sent to a hospital. Her first day of freedom ending with herhaving her freedom once again temporarily restricted was not how she saw today going. That said, she couldn't refuse, nor should she walk away from this situation. This was a crime scene, and she was a witness. She'd been patient for a long time, and messing things up by trying to rush things would only end badly.

Julia, ever-observant, noticed Sarah slip out. She wouldn't stop her, or draw attention to her. One of the big reasons she felt so inclined to help Madelyn was that she felt Madelyn didn't have a choice in whether or not to get involved with that shady occult-looking woman. Madelyn hadmade her own choice toplay the hero, and now her friends were making the decision to sneak off and save her. Maybe this really wasn't her business anymore. This wouldn't help her find a home, or a stable future.

But she still couldn't resist joining in the speculation. She wanted to help. She wanted that kid to be found and safe.
