She also doesn't exactly have the best control of it when trying to go beyond three times above or beyond her normal height or density. The earliest memories she has are of her square white room inside Fort Jackson. Subject 18427 of Project Whateley. Even her surname had been fabricated. This was the only life she knew. She got to draw and play with toys. Sometimes she'd see the other kids for lunch or education. She was tooyoung to fully realise that she ws being tested, monitored and trained. Having her vitals taken while running on a treadmill. Being taken to a large room and being told to grow and shrink, to get lighter and heavier. These were as normal to her as eating and sleeping. And she had fun. Not knowing any other way she could have been raised, she grew up a bright, kind and extroverted yet naive and ignorant child. However, at some point in her mid teens, the curriculum started to change. She was isolated more often. She was trained in hand to hand combat and given classes on combatative uses of her powers, with videos of Megaplex as a reference point. Her bright, positive energy started todim. She knew they were trying to mold her into a weapon. Sam didn't want to hurt people. She wanted to put smiles on people's faces. During one exercise, when trying to push her limits, she felt a ceiling break and could finally grow past fifteen feet...twenty feet....thirty feet. She couldn't stop, and her panic was only fuelling the growth. The scientists were screamimg. Alarms started blaring. She broke out of the ceiling as she felt walls crumble around her like they were made of sand. It's not that she can't remember much about this, it's that she doesn't want to. Storylines: Big girls don't cry - Samatha's personal traumas are the biggest obstacle in her path to confidentally using her powers to their true potential, and must be overcome. Growing into the role - Sam wants to be a role model that brings joy to people, but going from being a meek store cleark to being a bona fide superhero? She has a lot to learn. Old Acquaintences - She is destined to run into Abby and/or the director again eventually. Notes: She's had at lest five jobs in the short amount of time she's lived in the city. Rent is always a monthly struggle, but it beats the ititial two months she was homeless. Her current job is a store clerk.[/hider]
