[@Luluna] Hello there. [@King Cosmos] Entirely doable. The beauty of running this in an episodic format is that you can even pick whether you'd want your villain character to be recurring/overarching, or, should you want to experiment, you can just run an episode centered on your villain, and if it doesn't work for you, we kill the episode early and return to the main story. [@Byte] I imagine once we determine who wants to play what type of character, I will kick off some collaborative space (Discord if everyone is OK with it), and I will give time for players to work on their characters. For the standard pairs, I think it could work if players posted a rough concept for their characters, and then we can see which ones would match and pair up, working on detailed character sheets afterwards. Of course, that would prevent noone from pairing up beforehand and just collaborating on their digidestined pair from the get go. Overall, I am relatively confident this can work. I have done similar pairings (dragon/rider) in 1x1s before, and it was some of the best games I was in. If anything, taking the concept to a macro scale is less risky, as here we have ways to get around a player dropping, whereas in 1x1, that's the end. I have also done a RP in episode format with overarching story themes (think stargate, power rangers etc.), and it worked well for a game totally different from what the player group was used to as we could change direction easily if something wasn't working (site was focused on dragon related stories, and I ran a space opera survival game on there) The key is to raise your voice early if you feel somethig is not going well, so I can work with you to fix the issue.
