Even as Alice discharged her pistol at the attacking Husk, King reached out with an arm to hook it underneath one of Alice's in order to keep her upright.

[color=5FADAD][i]'Moving to suppress.'[/i][/color] He then indicated, drifting to maneuver himself between Alice and the charging Husk itself - extending his free hand and stabbing it at the Husk's center of mass while emitting another shaped bead of plasma directly on impact, seeking to completely blow the creature away. Even as he did so, he turned his head to track the Husk still charging at them, and roiling lines of light raced from seemingly every other extremity in his body to fire out from his chest and bombard the charging creature with another set of rapid-fire ablative kinetic shocks. Unwilling to close the distance, King made to overcome the dense etheric particulate in the atmosphere through raw volume of fire instead, turning the air in front of the Husk itself into a crackling and cascading wall of explosive sparks that rapidly advanced to engulf the advancing entity.
