Tag: Explosion Necromancer Name: Keodis Novikov Age: 23 Gender: Male Nationality: Medil (It's Florida with volcanoes) Craft: Working with Reactor puts you in some... FUN positions. For Keodis, this fun position was staring down the barrel of a Main Battle Tank as the designated AT operator, and your AT rocket just cratered the armor, but didn't kill it. Now, you're standing out in the open, launcher on shoulder, squad behind you, with a 155 mm gun and a 50 mil grenade launcher pointed right at you. You need more boom. You need more boom in the next second, or you, and everyone you've fought with for 3 years are going to be a smear on the wall of a Libolian chateau. And you get more boom. You get the ability to boom any boom that's ever boomed... again. You get the ability to resurrect any explosion at the time of it's detonation. And you resurrect that rocket detonation, cooking off the shell in the tank's barrel. You then resurrect the shell, which blows the grenade storage inside the tank. The grenades are resurrected, cooking off the shell storage. The shells go off, the grenades go off, the rocket goes off, over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and oVER, AND OVER, AND OVER. . . Yeah, you blow things up good. Vessels Carried: Portal "Gun": Funnily enough, repeated identical explosions are good for science. Who'dve thunk it. One of these science types liked the idea of iterative testing. A Lot. So much so, that she brought Keodis in on the tests with his ability to make explosions that explode the exact same every time to test some of her ideas. With "some" being over 14,000 separate tests. Her craft (though she didn't call it magic, for some reason) was to place linking portals on any solid surface. This vessel, holding a limited aspect of that power and shaped like a strange white vambrace and hand guard with three prongs, can place two portals that link to each other in a shared wormhole loop. You can see through the portals once they're linked, and any object sent through retains it's momentum. You've gone from "grunt on the field" to "tactical asset" in a single day. So, they give you some old EOD armor, a slap on the ass, and a ticket to the heaviest fighting on the contract because "You have a craft now, you're of more use there." Jackasses. Despite your grand new power, explosions are still explosions, and explosions HURT. Thankfully, scavenging the battlefield pulls up a mostly intact suit of Juggernaut armor, which you quickly repaint and co-opt. It doesn't hurt that your craft has decided that it Likes Your Fit, and proceeds to seep into the plates of the armor. Now, whenever they're hit with sufficient kinetic force (like a bullet impacting, or a bomb's blast wave impacting), the armor counter-detonates outwards like an infinite Mass-Reactive Armor using the resurrected explosions of remembered impacts, releasing a wave that weakens or outright cancels the attack. However, being a heavily armored mercenary makes for a lot of work where you build muscle mass by existing. Nowadays, he stands as an utter mammoth of a young man, being heavily muscled due to carrying so much gear around. Being tanned and brown of hair, he doesn't stand out much beyond his height. That, and his thin blondish-brown mustache that is fastidiously kept by it's owner. Bio: An exemplar of the Medilian "give no fucks" attitude. Growing up in a warzone, and having a first job as a hired gun gives one a rather blase attitude on combat, and his is split between "bored calmness" and "maniacal explosion-fueled glee" while in a firefight. Off the field of battle, Keodis is an animal lover at heart. He just forgets that others... may not be as appreciative of whatever horror he inevitably finds on-base, or wherever his unit is staying. This has happened multiple times, with a few incidents even ending up in the Reactor List of Things Not To Do; including such entries as "Do not present your CO with a Live Gator as a present", "Do not bring native (addendum 1: or invasive) snakes on base", "Do not cultivate Huntsman Spiders in the barracks", and "Do not walk the K9 Units in the Medilian swamp." He seems rather carefree in most of his actions, exploring life with the wild abandon of a teenager who just got away from overbearing parents. He will try most anything at least once and wants to find something that he can do beyond just detonate things forever. History: Born to immigrants, Keodis grew up as a native Medilian, going out and doing stupid things in the swamp with friends. It was during this time in life he got his love for reptiles, after he was bit by a ratsnake that hung on to him until he got home, and he put it in a terrarium. Hearing his father's stories about the workforce, Keodis joined the armed forces the moment he could. Working with Reactor form the moment he could be legally hired, Keodis served for 4 years all across the world, first as a combat engineer and AT specalist, and later as an "irregular" force multiplier. In almost every engagement, he ended up on the hottest front by either cosmic circumstance or supreme bad luck, leaving him with an enormous amount of combat experience relative to how long he's served. During the Medilian Job, Keodis was deployed close to his home, where he took a quick leave and visited his family during the war. After Reactor collapsed, Keodis was left stranded in Polovia, being pulled from Medil due to "personal biases." He now works as a demolition engineer and range boss in a backwater town, watching for opportunities to re-don his Det Armor. Weaponry (including Channels):

Mk 19H - Say hello to Joakim! He's a modified DSR belt fed grenade launcher, that I... *ahem* acquired on a mission to a Samiya armory. Had to weld on the carry handle myself, and jury-rig the trigger to sit on top, but he serves well! It takes 40 mm grenade shells, the exact same size an a standard SWAT 9-bang flash grenade. So, it turns out my power only affects the first detonation of a chain, so if I resurrect a 9-bang, it sets off all nine bangs for the strain of 1 resurrection. Neat, right?
