JJ

The last thing JJ remembered was sprinting to safety. Now a lump of dissary was he as he lay crumbled on the ground. His brow half-bleeding, his wrists sore from stalling his fall, and his wits more scrambled than an egg. what the fuuuu... he internally muttered through clenched teeth before realizing people were speaking. Speaking! He was at a delinquency program, and something had happened. It all came back to him as he sat straight up in a flushed rush. Beads of sweat started at his nape, real danger and its consequences always brought a rise out of him. He hadn't managed to reply to Henry's, or Tony's check-in through his grog. Hell, he was still staring at his extremities and doing a quick one-two to make sure he still functioned as intended. But as others around him also woke and spoke, he too felt words building to bubble out. The electric tumble frazzled his hair, and there was an exploded lighter in his chest pocket. Well, what was left of a pocket. His head rang like a bell too. That brought his mind toward the more socially primal questions. His new tribe had just faced their first adversity, might need to check on the rest of the jungle. He caught something from his fellows near the main group, "At lea... Sky. How....you feeling?" "His poor hair." mumbled the misfit as humor started its way back into his psyche. "We're alive... but we'll be okay." Henry answered through JJ's concussed state. "...don't think any of us ...painting, especially her." That sobered up his joking pretty quickly, as he internally ran the roladex of the group for names and faces. Prince and his skate friend seemed whole, "Anyone notice how he was spasming?" he even mentioned through JJ's haze, which had shut out Tony's talk. Oh right, they had an overseer. So did Henry and his fab mate, but how was his new buddy? "Hey Ax. Aksel? You good dude?" he fumbled and staggered upright trying to spot a familiar face in this uncertainty as he looked up at the sky like it might just fall on them. Again.
