"Move!" Price yelled the command as they followed the target down an alley; a nearby man quickly fell backwards back into a door with a container of God knows what that splashed all over him. Price raised his gun, but ahead he could still see civilians in the distance. He lowered it, cursing to himself; this bastard knew well enough that with civilians around him they were less likely to shoot, but the real question was how long had he known they were following him? He would like to say that phone call had been the thing that blew their cover, but in his gut he did not think that was the case, especially with that decoy case. This man was leading them on a chase, and he was certain this was part of the plan. "Sir, I'm cutting down a fire escape; we can box him in right here and now!" Sandoval was quick as he quickly smashed into the metal lattice and quickly started moving down it. "Do it!" Price gave the command as Sandoval quickly descended and let his boots hit the ground and started up the opposite side of the alley. They had him, or so he thought. He never expected what happened next. The target, seeing Sandoval coming up in front of him, leapt from the ground to the left and hit the brick of the building and crawled along it like a damn spider at a high speed. Sandoval had no time to even react as he passed by with little effort and jumped back to the ground as he kept running. "What the fuck!" Sandoval swore loudly as the man passed by him. "What the hell is he!?!?" Sandoval shouted the question as Price ran by him; Sandoval quickly followed after raising his gun. "No! Too many civilians!" Sandoval lowered his gun as he swore under his breath. "Byers! The target might possibly be a B.O.W.! Price and Sandoval busted out into the street as the target, who was just up the road, turned towards them. "He's a what!? Are you serious!?" Price didn't respond as he saw the young woman in the target's grasp; a dart gun was in his hand and pressed to her neck harshly. Price raised his gun as Sandoval did the same; all around, people had their phones out, presumably recording or calling the police. "Ah, Price, so good to see you again. They told me you and your cronies might be here waiting, but I just couldn't resist." Price took a step forward, but the target tightened his hold on the woman and pulled the trigger on the dart gun halfway back, stopping him in his tracks. "Let her go, Nikolai." Price said the words spitefully as Sandoval looked over at him in slight confusion. "You know each other?" Price didn't answer as Nikolai chuckled softly to himself. "Oh Price, I am so, so, sad that you never told your team about me. I thought I meant more to you than that, my old friend." Nikolai laughed as Price felt his face etch into anger. "Don't get high on yourself, Niko; you're just a part of the past, and after today you won't be a part of the future." `Tsk tsk tsk` "Is that any way to talk to your old superior? It's no wonder the BSAA wants to get rid of you, just like that rogue Chris Redfield." Price said nothing to the remark as he put his finger on the trigger and prepared to shoot Niko in the head.
