Erika's battle ready stance slowly lowered as she didn't quite expect the willingness of a thief to just explain themselves. Shouldn't she be trying to lie and cheat since they were willing to steal? This didn't seem like a lie but it maybe Erika was bad at telling liars from people being truthful. She looked over at Chic who gave a quizzical look. By now, Erika had fully deflated and even looked a little defeated. [color=6ecff6]"Aren't trainers supposed to battle for information? I swear I saw this all the time growing up."[/color] She explained to Chic but then turned to the thief, pointing with an open hand. [color=6ecff6]"Right?"[/color]

Though now the tension had been punctured and Erika would feel silly if she forced a battle here. Maybe things [i]did[/i] work differently here. [color=6ecff6]"Oh forget it. I really don't understand this place ever since showing up. It feels so..."[/color] Erika glanced around the alley, spotting a few Rattatta peeking their heads out to observe the pair of Trainers and their Pokemon from a safe distance.
