What Cassie saw as she went through the portrait was intense, she couldn't imagine what Willow was experiencing. Cassie had recalled in one of the many, many books that she read that people who were blind often had their other senses heightened. She didn't know if this was fiction or not, but either way Willow had stumbled already. Cassie looked around her, eyeing the others. Strangers, all of them. Not unfriendly, Rohan seemed fine. The excitable, cute one was a joy to be around and Cassie wanted to speak to him, but she remained. The one friend she had made might need her and she needed friends if she hoped to survive here. Slowly, she was starting to realize she may have jumped in the deep end and would need to swim to survive. Eventually, a gasp showcased Willow's exit as she came through. Cassie reached out, taking Willow's hand in her own and squeezing it. "There you are, it's okay. You're okay. Come, let's take a seat and maybe get something to drink." Cassie led Willow to a nearby chair, allowing the girl to take a seat. "It looks like they serve alcohol, but I am sure they have water or maybe some tea if you want." Cassie glanced warily at the drinks she did spot. She had never drank alcohol other than the wine at church. She tried to sneak some of her father's bourbon before, but she was caught and banished to her room. College kids drank, right? Perhaps she should partake. But Willow needed to be settled first.
