Felix's armored reconnaissance group had finally returned from their mainland excursion, exfiltrated by a pre-war ro-ro ferry back to their island base of operations. Her personal BMD-1 was missing chunks again, and one of the tracks had to be shortened to prevent it from being left behind. On the back of it, sported their haul for their collective efforts. She picked out a few choice items -some books- and left the after-action reports to be written by someone more interested in describing how they nearly over-extended their mission into a one-way trip due to fuel-starvation, as they only managed to get every vehicle back by focusing on only bringing their BMDs further out and leaving all their other heavy weapons behind at a rally-point, which was also when they started taking damage whilst making a fighting retreat back to the rally-point under the cover of copious amounts of mortar-fire.

Anyways, she sure hoped Colin would appreciate the find of several new books for his library. At least she was pretty sure he didn't have these yet. Mostly technical-manuals, but there was also a fair amount of pulpy romance-novels that may interest him.

Entering the library and lowered her facemask to get a better sense of her surroundings, the lobby itself had more of a cabin or mead-hall vibe to it. That or a very casual coffee-shop complete with a working wood-stove for a fireplace. "Colin, you in here, ya giant bookworm? I've got some new books for you.~" She hollered, hoping he'd at least managed to cook something decent and actually edible this time around... although it would probably help if food wasn't strictly rationed this winter. Her tail flicked back and forth as she awaited an answer.
