This deceleration came to a somewhat unpleasant conclusion with the awful sound of the un-magnetized iron boots of the golems at its front scraping across the ground. Still, come to a stop they did, and in (mostly) once piece, though Edward did have to ask ”I don’t suppose anyone saw where our missing front wheel went?” when he stepped down from the driver’s seat to inspect it. The insides meanwhile were a mess, which meant it took a bit of time to dig up where all the resources he needed to set up their creature creator equipment, be it blueprints or bags of coal. Once it had all been retrieved however, he set his golems to work doing the hammering necessary to set it all up. Quite the miraculous technology, that even their crude motions could get the job done. Rather than simply watching them work, Edward made himself busy, he retrieving a pal-sphere and releasing from it the Reindrix he’d claimed for personal use. He then approached it and applied the four fallen rendrix spirits to the still living specimen.
Quadruple-stuffed Reindrix At first glance it looks like a normal Reindrix, but there are subtle differences. It is noticeably larger, and appears somewhat swollen. Its antlers and fur patterns are more elaborate as well. In essence, its appearance gives off the impression of being inbred. Its physical stats all exceed the natural bounds for a typical Reindrix of its level. In addition to basic ice-type physical and ranged attacks, it wields three powerful moves: Frozen Charge, Iceberg, and Blizzard Spike. However, its weakness to fire is crippling. It exudes a super cold aura that's strong enough to build up frost on anything (or anyone) close it it, inflicting ice-type damage and eventually Freeze
The man cupped his chin as he examined the creature, commenting ”Fascinating. From wild beast to thoroughbred” as he did so, before stepping closer to give it a closer inspection. He stepped away a few moments later, shivering and shaking a shower of frost buildup from his wings. ”Well then, you are most certainly not suitable as a replacement puller or steed, even if I were to free you. But as a warbeast you might do well ” he said to the pal, before returning it to its sphere. He’d need to test that later. For now, however, the Creature Chamber had been completed, and it was time to get to work. A little easier said than done given no one had any training with the machinery, but fortunately it was pretty intuitive and required little technical know-how to operate. A bit like the blueprints really. Using this Edward cobbled together what he intended to be a low resource intensive practice/prototype creature to test out the process, using the machinery to combine parts from the diminutive snowrunt and puyomon. The result was a little unexpected however, mainly because the snoruyo that appeared from a flash of light when the machine activated stood considerably taller than the pair of feet that its components had. Scaled up, the somewhat wide stance of the snorunt left the resulting creature rather bulky, while the staring of the singular giant eye from the puyomon gave it a somewhat unnerving air. Still, it made absolutely no hostile moves nor showed any real initiative to do anything on its own, and obediently stomped over to an unused spot when Edward directed it to do so. THat latter was a relief as more than one tale of creators being destroyed by their creation due to their arrogance had raised its head in his mind upon seeing the impossible creature. now that he was fairly sure it would be no threat Edward admitted slowly that ”That… Opens up some possibilities” as he examined his creation from afar. He’d assumed that the creatures would have mostly been influenced by the creatures own sizes, Whitey Hooten having used bulky sea beasts in his own ‘tier five’ creations, but it seemed he had been wrong. The Seeker’s collection of diminutive creatures now looked to contain a lot more viable candidates for creature creation in his eyes. To confirm this, he had a squad of golems raise their shields and act as a punching bag for the new creation. He wasn’t too impressed with the ice shards it formed in its hands and hurled at the golems, though they did both come out and fly very fast. The crackling gas it could expel wasn’t particularly impressive either, though it certainly dissuaded approach. The ability to create teams of illusory copies and raise a defensive barrier to block attacks however, those were quite interesting indeed ”A group of these could make for a rather decent skirmishing squad, assuming they can also combine and be unaffected by the intensity of their lightning gas. Hard to approach, hard to hit. Shame about the speed though” he noted, as he proceeded to document the creation in one of his journals. If informed about the turrets, he might suggest they use the Snoruyo’s to draw their fire, or rather, to have its double team doppelgangers do so. This testing phase left plenty of space for people to commandeer the creature chamber and do their own creature creation.
