As Billie returned with the good news about the working semi, she shook her head at June’s next nonsensical question. [color=SeaGreen]“Not a damn thing. See you didn’t get anything.”[/color] She placed a hand on her hip and frowned seeing no one used the dolly to gather supplies from the gas station. Did they not do any work? Were June and Kali too busy lollygagging around for everyone else to do the hard work for them? At least Lex was looting abandoned cars. While initially June made a decent impression on her, with each passing hour, June’s immaturity increasingly jaded Billie. 

When the officers reported they were willing to be restrained for the chance of safety, it genuinely shocked Billie. [color=SeaGreen] “Damn, alright.” [/color]These guys had the guns and were still willing to go through with the plan? What was this world coming to? Still, it was better to avoid pestering them while emotions were high, especially as they handed their pistols to Flynn. Maybe they weren’t half bad after all. [color=SeaGreen] “Be right there.”[/color] She glanced around the area to ensure everyone was still in eye shot. If the worst came to pass, deciding who gets to hold the guns would be important. Despite her grievances, she trusted Flynn and Lex. Gus went without saying. [color=SeaGreen]”They’re not going to restrain themselves, it might be good to have protection, just in case.” [/color] If one of the officers were to turn while being restrained, it would help being armed. Billie spun on her heel spotting June stash not just one, not just two, but every pistol along with the ammo into her bag.

[color=SeaGreen]”What in the hell are you doing!” [/color] Storming towards June, Billie hit the side of the MRAP. [color=SeaGreen] “What the fuck are you trying to do? Packing up all our stuff and leaving the next chance you got? After all we’re trying to do for each other? For you?”[/color] She kept her voice from reaching too high of a volume. Enraged, she stationed herself to keep June between her and the MRAP. If this pestilent thief wanted to run away with their supplies, she’d have to fight her way out. 

[color=SeaGreen]"I bet you can’t even fire one of those guns. Tell me something, June, tell me how you think you’ll be safer out there all on your own? Still operating like a child! I swear! While you’re out there grabbing trash energy drinks and candy, we’re out here getting the supplies we need. Gas. Water. Food. ” [/color] She raised her injured fist before banging it on the side of the MRAP again. Tears swelled up in Billie’s eyes as the pain burned through her hand. [color=SeaGreen]”Dammit.” [/color] With a heavy sigh, Billie glanced around. She didn’t try to attract any attention, but someone would have heard her by now. Twice now. Twice now she let anger get the better of her today. Why wouldn’t they just listen to her?
