As for a sonic plot, I know I said something about the movie but if that doesn't work then I got this.

So Dr Eggman has been after Sonic for years and has always failed in all his attempts again and again. But then he learns of SIlver, a hedgehog but with a different power, a physic power who just happens to be hanging out in the current timeline. Eggman is sure if he manages to capture this Silver....learn to use or control the hedgehog and his powers then maybe he will have the power to finally stop Sonic at last.
