The difficult part of the job was just cornering the thing. A relieved smile softened the trainer’s expression, “alright, then. Here, I’ll transport you in a Pokeball.” Regan retrieved an empty ball from her belt and held it out for the Magnemite to come and boop itself on. Once that was done, it was time to collect her payment and go. Oh, but first, she made a mess in that maintenance closet. Mum always said to clean up after yourself. She couldn’t remember how the cabinet had been organized, but she could at least pick it back up and put everything back on the shelves. To the receptionist, to secure her payment, she would show her proof of service, her captured Magnemite, “here’s the source of your power outages. Cute little guy, isn’t he? If he weren’t so much trouble, perhaps.” She’d have to find the power plant, but that shouldn’t be too hard, right? Maybe the receptionist knows where it is. Or, maybe one of the brochures she picked up from the Association could help her. At any rate, her business at the apartment complex was complete. Without knowing where the powerplant was, exactly, she had to gather some information. Someone at a restaurant near the complex complained about a creature leaving a mess that morning at the dumpster. Apparently this was not an uncommon occurrence. It didn’t seem like anything too out of the ordinary, but perhaps it warranted checking out? While asking about a power plant, Regan would investigate this dumpster-diver pokemon.
