Personally, I'm fine with this just as long as you let the GM team know when you're planning on launching one!

I don't really see this as a problem so long as players aren't getting left out every time. The interactions between certain characters will always be different depending on who's involved. An event concerning Batman and Ghost Rider would be extremely tonally different if Plastic Man were to show up. Again, something to co-ordinate with the GM team though.
