I'm going to veto the sawn-off 4-gauge, as I think that's a bit OTT, especially if she's only 4'8", [i]and[/i] it's double-barrelled, as that just seems a bit... much to me. Same with lugging the MAS Assault Rifle - especially when you could just take an anti-materiel rifle that's actually made for the job, it's a bit unnecessary. It would also come with a scope, instead of the MAS ones which don't, and would be massively oversized for the hand controls and have horrible ergonomics for firing, as well as no recoil compensation for human-sized people. Especially at her size. And I mean, the point of [i]having[/i] the MAS Suits in the RP is to [i]use them[/i].
If the idea is that she has enhanced strength/endurance/etc because she's genetically engineered, that doesn't fit well with the concept that she has no advantages from the process, IMHO.

Yeah, I had a thunk over it while at work. And realized I kinda glossed over the part of her basically having learned to mimic things like a parrot/chimp to make it seem as though her program was a success, until that wasn't enough. The failure was largely in lack of a proper genetic-hybrid, as a technological fascimile is not only more expensive and time-consuming, but also kinda detracts from the goal of solving the issue with birth-defects and low birthrate when you're result is the physical abomination that is Felix.

-Kinda thinking "it's an anhur-thing" that the fungi basically filtering out the toxins means she can [i]normally[/i] drink a Dranfel under the table without even trying, but I figure stressing [i]her[/i] fungi from being out on extended missions/getting injured makes her a bit more... [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ir7FxcAMlU0]impulsive[/url]. [i]We suggest using a laser-pointer to keep her on-task[/i]. Since someone who can mimic enemy comms, has unfettered access to an open microphone on their radio, and with no impulse control is going to result in more than a few prank-calls.
-Will probably explain the appearance of scales as dermal trauma-plating she installed one night when nobody was looking after a particularly long mission (ie: she surgically added them herself with a field-knife while higher than a weather-balloon). It provides little practical protection aside from extra padding beneath her armor and protection from blunt force trauma if her MAS gets ragdoll'd with her inside. As they aren't a natural part of her, she needs to surgically replace them herself as they become damaged. The other upside is it reduces her rate of minor bumps/bruises so now it usually takes longer before she gets loopy in a fight.

And yeah... 4 gauge/23mm nade-launchy/buckshot-chucker is [i]probably[/i] a bit too much to be practical, [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=en_55fzWeVo]although they do, indeed, exist[/url]. -I guess I could settle for a single-barrel. The idea is it's a [i]mildly ridiculous[/i] spicy-boy that uses ammunition common to her MAS. It's use is basically for doming enemy MAS units or similar at point-blank/knife-fighting distances, and is a bit more practical than using a 4 gauge blank to pile-bunker them in the chin.

The use of the MAS-rifle as a dismounted big-iron is kinda a nod to the era when dudes would lug a Browning M2 machine gun out to do the long-poke in single-shot mode. She doesn't really need to reach the trigger as long as she can manipulate the shear to drop the bolt/firing pin (in some cases, trigger doesn't even exist, [url=https://armourersbench.com/2022/03/27/ukraine-is-converting-salvaged-russian-pkts/]is still not problem[/url]). Still, her tendancy to use it is less "planned" and more "I wanna shoot something, but I forgot my rifle/my rifle isn't big enough" so she just reaches over grabs the smallest gun off her MAS (less for practical and more for comedic effect; since as you said, in a serious situation she's probably be in her MAS). Like, 80% of what she'd be doing dismounted can probably be settled with an MP5 or an MG-3, or a 23mm grenade to the face.
