Doc couldn't help but marvel at the ease with which Geo managed to decimate his foe's attempt. It was a simple thrust, and Geo acted finicky, but Doc vividly remembered struggling against these same attacks. The staff and the spear were not too different as weapons, but Geo wielded his with more skill than the healer could. Geo's rebuttal was far less impressive, and if their foe were a more dangerous combatant, they would have easily evaded the attack. The bandit seemed to try to avoid the strike, but the broad swipe of the blade knicked him, and in a vital area no less. With his balance off and a heavy-headed shovel currently weighing his movements down, he was simply too unprepared for an attack. Blood trickled from the gash on the side of his neck, deep red and quickly staining into the burlap shirt below. Worse yet, the flow flinched at the damage and yelped in a shockingly life-like manner. Geo deals 9 damage Doc did not hesitate; the second his ally made his move, they were rushing in, albeit cautiously. Rather than a frontal assault, Doc hopped to the side opposite where the shovel had landed, darting in. The second Geo began to retract his spear to cover his retreat. An open palm slammed into the bandit's chin, striking with the lower half where the wrist meets the hand. The bandit careened backward before falling, defeated. you deal 3 damage each player gained 4 exp! Each player collects 1 gp! The victory screen displayed their earnings, a paltry sum from just one foe, further exacerbated by their splitting the loot. Doc hardly felt like he had earned it. The battle would have been a slug fest for him, a back-and-forth as he struggled to gain any sort of opportunities, given the bandit's range. Still, he couldn't help but smile at his ally. If they continued like this, the whole dungeon would be a piece of cake. The remaining three bandits did not seem to even notice their fallen foe, likely just outside of their pathfinding range. They sat in the dirt or leaned against the barricade, staring into the distance, making very little movement, a reminder of their digitalized minds that contrasted their life-like bodies. "Want to kite another? Honestly, I think we could take on the whole bunch." Doc said earnestly. Seeing Geo fight had bolstered his confidence just a bit more. [/cell] [/row]
