Probably a mixture of the two. I'd love to build towards a grand RP-wide event to bring everyone together, but I think planning this for the right time in everyone's stories is important and I don't have a wealth of experience preparing for this sort of thing!

I don't have any solid plans for an overaching story, but it would be something great to work towards. In the meantime I'm content to let everyone breath and create the story in a natural way, but yes working towards something like a 'Civil War' or Darkseid event would be fantastic.
