And yeah, I could rephrase it a bit in her backstory, but I interpreted the Gudnrukan expeditions more akin to how the dwarves in Dragon Age had search parties go into abandoned thaigs. Less genuine wanderlust and more "This looks nice to display on the mantlepiece and brag about at dinners." Fig is obviously the former, interested in learning for its own sake as opposed to building a legacy.

Not that she [i]wouldn't[/i] be interested, but I'd like to clarify she's not doing it to benefit anything beyond sating her own curiosity.
