Rylia Ainsberg

Fort Magrial

Hmph. "My name is Rylia, not Lady," I assert, firmly. Did I introduce myself for no reason? Can't he call people by their proper names? Whatever, at least he seems plenty aware of the best approach to the fort. I suppose I won't have to correct him on that. I can't exactly complain about the proposal to send the Nem to scout, either. Their kind isn't commonly seen this far North, but I don't need to be familiar with them to know that they're well-suited to handling scouting and infiltration while remaining mostly unseen. Of course, there's the question of if the nem who thought that card was actually impressive is the best choice for this, but I guess she's an adventurer so she must have some level of basic competency. I cross my arms over my chest. "I suppose I don't have any other complaints, though," I add after a few moments. In any case, there's no point in delaying. Those goblins need to be taken care of. Fort Magrial must have made for a fairly imposing sight when it was fully intact. Not that I'm bothered, of course. From what I can recall of Talderian forts, it looks like it was a fairly large garrison that would have been stationed here. Which, in turn, means there's probably a lot of room for goblins. Not that it changes anything. They're still going to get crushed all the same. ---It's a mess. Not just because of the state the fort is in, but because of its current occupants. There's animal bones everywhere, some hanging on strings or otherwise displayed on wooden spikes. Smashed pottery, too. I guess they were looking for something. Some of it's clearly things they've just discarded outside the fort, while others seem like whatever kind of decorations a bunch of raiding goblins think look the most intimidating. Hmph. More than anything else, it's just ugly. "Do you see anything---" I pause for a moment. What was the Nem girl's name? She'd never said anything, just showed off that weird card. ... Was that what she wanted us to call her? It's what Wyndham had called her. Nnngh... "... Raven?" I finish my question with a small sigh. [@Eisenhorn][@SilverPaw][@RolePlayerRoxas]
