Soruha Harehk
[@SilverPaw][@Eisenhorn][@VitaVitaAR] It was hard to deny the mounting excitement in Soruha's chest as the party approached the ruin. Of course, she was aware of the dangers of being too confident and all that jazz, but there was just an inherent thrill to this monster-slaying business, and given the lack of disastrous failures in her short tenure, it was difficult not to see this venture as another guaranteed success. Well, it helped to have a familiar face and a veteran on her side too. Oh, right, and the little giant, she was probably reliable enough, too. Speaking of, at Rylia's question, the nem shook her head slowly. Nothing jumped out at her at the moment, beside the general lack of care given to the fort here. It made for an unpleasant scene, but at least there wasn't anything skulking around in the shadows. Still, before they brought out the lights, Soruha figured her eyes would help give them an edge. Time to go full adventurer mode, then. Picking up her pace, Raven approached the gate, swiftly ducking against the wall and peering into the dark fort. As far as she could tell, the lacking decor did not hide any goblins. She wondered if they were smart enough to have laid any kind of traps though. Pitfalls seemed safe to rule out, but a wire to drop something sharp, or even just make noise, could be annoying. With a hand on the hilt of her trusty dagger Sparrow, and an arm draped over her mouth and nose to suppress the unpleasant air, Raven slinked past the missing gates, scanning mainly the floor ahead for anything they could inadvertently step on in the dark. If there were goblins, Raven suspected she would hear them first anyway.
