Arstus
God Concept: With power over the stars and light. Arstus is the embodiment of the light, either one found in the night sky or himself. Though it might seem like his focus is away from others, he does think about others and not forget about the mortals who see him as a protector and guide. While they are a tiny speck in the vastness of space. They are still important to him, and he spends time in the mortal realm. As his light gives them hope in the darkness. Appearance: Arstus has several forms, but the one he prefers to use is one where he wears a white hooded robe with greenish grey accents. With a mask that covers his eyes and half of his face. But the rest of his body is visible, with purple skin and blue covering the edges and his hands and feet. Along with white markings on his body. Motivation: Arstus exists not only to light up where there is nothing and to fill the canvas that is reality. But also to be a force against those who seek to crush the light. While he is eager to light up the universe from nothing and paint the stars. Creating constellations of mortals who he deems worthy to be remembered and making star-trails that help to guide those lost in the dark. He understands that there are ones out there who seek to snuff out the light in the universe. In this regard, Arstus becomes a force to defend the light in the universe. To his worshippers, he is a guardian who is willing to teach them how to use the light and to guide them by following the stars. To those who forsake the light, who consort with evil beings. He is a source of fear as his light will shine so bright that none will remain. Roleplay Example: The man was old, near death, and alone. In his life, he was many things, a commoner, an adventurer, a rebel, and even a king. But now here he was, on his deathbed and in the middle of the night. Still awake, he started to feel the urge to close his eyes once again. A figure appeared in his room, a figure he did not recognize, a man in a white robe, and the man thought it was death itself coming to claim him. But, to his surprise, it was not, but someone who had taken an interest in the old man. After learning of the old man's tale. A simple commoner who, despite the odds, had earned the title of a hero after killing a tyrannical king. Becoming a king himself in the tyrannical king's place, and proved to be the king his people needed. So when the robed man explained who he was, the god Arstus himself and that for his heroic deeds. He deemed the old man was worthy of being remembered in the stars, and so Arstus showed him his constellation in the night sky. The old man was speechless, but joyful. But he felt his death was close, and before he closed his eyes a final time. Arstus comforted the man and wished him a good afterlife. So the old man finally died, and Arstus departed, disappearing in an explosion of light. Returning to the stars, where he gazed among the new constellation that joined the others. What mortal will be worthy of being among the stars, Arstus wondered, and went back to his duties. Availability: I am mostly free during the week and weekend, but sometimes I can get busy or distracted. Experience: I have been roleplaying by forum for years, and I feel like I am somewhat good at it. Though I could be underselling myself, but I enjoy it and try to improve when I can.
