Hopefully that would be enough to keep the creature content for a moment so that he may meditate on his day for a moment before returning to the woods for more resource hunting. Finally concluding his game with the other Seekers, Ramattra had asked in passing that Tenna collect the logs that the Omnic had been using for practice to fuel the fireplace, and keep all the organic members warm. There was no rebuttal from the CRT host, as he ordered two of his remaining Shadow Guys to stay and clean up the mess of confetti and rearranged furniture. The logs were neatly sorted in a pile from bad cuts to better cuts, showing how Ramattra had improved throughout the evening after his discussion and sparring with Edward, the better cuts more even and easy to relocate inside, where Tenna tossed them into the fireplace to burn for the rest of the night. That would be a good task for him to delegate to his Shadow Guys, but for now, Tenna focused on going around the cabinets and closets of the building, collecting any extra bedding and pillows for the rest of White Team. After reflecting on his day, Ramattra finally left his lonesome in the room he stationed himself in to go gather more necessary resources for the team’s survival. Sandaphlon had shared that the soup was losing quality and that restoring it with other nutrients would help in the travels to come. Venturing out into the woods, the Omnic kept an eye out for any threats and treats for the rest of the team. Fortunately, it seemed the squad had put enough distance between them and the Spire that Skulling threats were no longer a concern; however, on his exploration, Ramattra did come across a large spider and what he assumed was its younger counterpart. While the Omnic was certain that nobody wanted to eat spiderflesh in the Stew, maybe the creature’s DNA would be viable for the fusion machine that Edward had assembled. The spiders seemed neutral to Ramattra’s presence, only getting aggressive if he got too close to the nests they wove in webs amongst the trees. He was certain they would prove useful later, however, and should gather up samples for later fusion use, which would unfortunately mean having to slay one of each to collect vital components they could use for fusion. Maybe some of its legs and venom glands would suffice. Regardless, Ramattra challenged some of the spiders with his blade, now more familiar with its weight in his hand, by cutting a giant spider and a spiderling down from where they dangled on their webs. They hissed and bared their venomous fangs at Ramattra, attempting to pierce the Omnic’s metallic leg, only to get a mouthful of hard metal. The Omnic battered the smaller creature away first with the blunt side of the blade, before drawing it through the head of the spiderling. Quickly, Ramattra slashed the sword at the legs of the larger spider, beating them up to weaken the beast's stamina. It put up a good fight, using its heavy legs to push Ramattra backward, but was a lesser mob and fell with a couple more swings to its vital areas. He claimed whatever parts were viable for fusion or resources from both creatures- whether that had been fangs, hairs, or glands. “Well, if we ever need spider-like monstrosities, we have the samples now.” Finishing his collection, the Omnic went deeper into the woods, searching high and low for any food. His haul was modest and largely comprised of winterberries, snow cherries, and other assortments of berries. Ramattra filled his inventory to max capacity with whatever little food he could scavenge up for his fleshy companions. Returning to the lodge to retire for the night, it seems Tenna’s Shadow Guys had taken to managing the odd dog during their stay, petting its large body and using yarnballs as makeshift balls for the creature to play with.
