Something walked through it, carrying a sword and looking familiar. It didn't immediately attack anyone, but Leah put her hands up out of habit. But it looked familiar. That face, the shape of its body, she recognized the appearance of the Astral Plane behind it from what she saw in books. Was it a spell, something Wiccan summoned? No, they weren't even on this plane when she last saw them, Dorian had isolated him. Why did- Wait. Patriot called it Billy, Leah heard America call it Madres. Leah scowled, she recognized what was happening here. Leah hung around Dorian and the internet enough to know a thing or two about Genosha. She had a thing for digging into absurd conspiracies and the history of anything like superheroes doing shady shit or whatever assassination contract her dad completed most recently. Not one of her finer qualities, by far, but it was important to know your enemy. She used to spend hours reading about this kind of thing. Wiccan and Dorian were one person. The figure they were looking at was both of them and also neither. Her friend, and Hulkling's partner, but a third thing as well. Leah walked forward through the arena, and raised her hands high up. Rubble began to float into the sky around her, and then from further away. Further and further still, until all the debris from one edge of the arena to the other was levitated off the ground. "Everyone... Hold still for just a moment!" She called out. Her hands clapped together, causing the rocks to liquefy. Everyone could see it, like the stone and concrete just melted before their very eyes, turning to heavy quicksand that fell down without floating in the air. It filled in cracks and fissures, sinkholes and pits, moving like water and settling to the very bottom. There wasn't even dust clinging to the wind, everything dropped lower. Anyone paying attention may have felt the ground shifting in odd ways beneath them, almost like standing on a waterbed. It took about forty seconds, and then Leah stomped the ground. A jolt went through it, and everything went solid again. Just like that, the arena was a solid, flat plane once again. Like it was brand new. "Okay." She took off slowly, in the direction of the strange entity. "No one attack them! That's Poltergeist and Wiccan, they fused!" She announced, so neither team would snipe their own side. "They used to do this back on Genosha... You two made a Circuit in there, do you recognize any of us?" If what she knew was correct, there was a possibility they’d see themselves more as the third thing than two other things. They’d have to be sure, no one could fight like this unless they all voted to kick Wiccan and Poltergeist off the field while someone sorted them out. That wouldn’t be good.
