That does seem like a good thing to consider, especially with the characters that have left that actually left effects on the rest of the story.
When I joined Ultimate DC in 2013, one thing drew me to it over other RPs. It wasn’t solitary writing. It wasn’t the mere concept of interpreting a comic book character. What drew me to it was that it had its own continuity and somewhat stuck to it. If characters took their leave, they left their mark and the next writer had to pick up where the last one left it. It was like a comic book writer taking over from another. Ironic, I know, given I haven’t exactly done that as Batman here. But I think that’s what stuck with me. It was its own universe and the idea was every season things built into its own separate thing. This didn’t pan out with Guildfall obviously but it is something I think about often. If we want these games to have actual legs in the future: discernable mileage, we need to have people playing characters that matter and hold weight. Addressing this and roleplay philosophy is crucial. I would recommend better organization is the first start to this.
