Meli nodded, and she whispers, "Before we move...." She quickly moves to stuff dirt and softer leaves into his armor. While it is uncomfortable, Cadmus notices a difference: The metal parts of his armor clanking against each other is less audible than before. Thanks to Meli, Cadmus is able to sneak away from the bandits and Meli was able to follow him. 

Once they were far enough away from the bandits, Cadmus and Meli are able to run the rest of the way back to the Orchard without alerting the bandits. Meli leads the way back and sure enough, the house is in view! They have returned. 

Isolde, Elena, and Garrick are outside, their voices echoing as they call out for Cadmus. The first to spot them was Elena. She calls, "There you are, Cadmus! Where have you gone? We were worried!" While Isolde and Garrick also move to see Cadmus and check on him, Meli is noticeably quieter than normal. She is trembling, and she is staring at the ground. A tear or two can be seen falling from her face down to the earth below.
