That really didn’t sound good. This thing was part Dorian and part Wiccan, and it considered itself distant enough from both that, somehow, it was superior to all of them. For a moment, she had to wonder if Wiccan planned this. Making a Circuit so one of Excelsior’s strategists would be tied up- The Young Avengers didn’t need Wiccan, they had enough heavy hitters without him. But without Dorian, they were down a wildcard and a team leader. This affected them more. She backed up further until she was near April and Sabine. And then she kept her voice low. ”It’s way too convenient that their chaos wizard got stuck in there with one of us. I think Wiccan got desperate, and hoped his team could turn the fight around...” Her eyes turned upwards to America, who hadn’t dropped to the ground when Leah fixed the battlefield. ”I bet they’re going to attack us the second Danni’s off the field. But none of us can help those two better than him.” Oh, how paranoid she sounded. It made perfect sense in her head, and besides, they couldn’t just call the fight off. And maybe being reminded that a fight was going on would wake them up. Leah made a fist, and swung her arm in the air. A rock no bigger than a watermelon cracked upwards and went flying into the air to smack America. It shattered against her face, and Leah saw the indignant look. Barely a scratch. ”Hotshot! Go!”
