Harry didn’t have much time to recover from his last match as the next one started.  Dr.Faust was working quickly to bandage and care for Harry’s wounds. Slowly, he stumbled towards the arena. He was given a bunch of water and electrolytes from Faust to help sober him up. But Harry had more alcohol on him in case he needed it.  His next opponent was Axel Hawk, a fearsome boxer from Southtown. He was sure Terry had encountered this guy before. In fact, he was sure he had overheard Terry or someone else mention how the lone wolf beat the snot out of the boxer.  

Hawk didn’t give Harry any sort of acknowledgment. Not that the detective cared, he just wanted to win this match so he could be one step closer to beating Bison. Both men were standing still in the middle of the ring. A signal was given letting them know to begin the first round. Axel quickly hopped towards Harry, throwing a hard punch at Harry’s torso. Harry felt the air leave his lungs from the punch. His body was hunched forward as Axel threw another punch. This time, it was coming towards the detective’s head. But luckily, Harry dodged the punch and kicked Axel in the balls. Axel reeled backwards with Harry following up by performing a

A move that didn’t seem to affect Axel much. The boxer quickly got back onto his feet.  Landing a hard punch to Harry’s head. The sound of his fist hitting Harry’s head was quite hard. It was almost cringeworthy with how badly Harry was getting beaten.  Each of Axel’s punches was causing significant damage to the detective. Harry couldn’t do much to protect himself, but held up his arms to try and block the shots. 

Harry tried countering Axel’s punches by dodging out of the way of his attacks. Dodging one of his punches and giving Axel another brutal kick. This time, his attack made contact with the boxer’s side. This seemed to stun the boxer momentarily. Harry followed up with another kick to Axel’s head. This time, it seemed to make Axel stagger.  He was starting to falter as Harry was now pummeling his face with a flurry of punches. Harry thought he was doing some damage to the boxer, but Axel seemed to recover quickly. Caught Harry by surprise by suckerpunching Harry in the face. The punch was hard enough to break Harry’s nose and sent him flying backwards. Axel was declared the winner of the first round. Something that made Axel raise his arms in victory.
