Granted, this'll need to mean your character gets additional applique plot-armor since harming the main/GM-Player-Character would likely cause some sort of time paradox.

The other option being a hard board-reset and non-canon thread with the same players and characters performing the same mission. Kinda already have a list of folks willing to conduct such a train-wreck (not myself, [@Massasauga] doesn't trust me at the controls ever since the last time I dragged them into a mech-RP).
