Not much is known about the enigma that is the mute mercenary called Eirún. While her stature and appearance make it quite clear that her blood can be traced back to the old tribes of the north, no one seems to know her exact origins. At first, her status as a blade for hire was met with skepticism, disbelief and even disdain. Few were those willing to entrust a contract to an apparently inexperienced mercenary, especially one that seemed to lack any form of armor or protective gear. Her blade, despite the wonderful craftsmanship looked almost out of place being wielded by such a lithe woman who would seem to be more suited to wield light blades. 
When she finally took her first contract though, few were those who had any doubts remaining about her skills. The gracefully curved blade she wielded appeared to be weightless, singing as she effortlessly wielded it. Her dance-like movements, precise, beautiful and deadly. While she undeniably lacked experience at first, her skills seemed to more than make up for that fact.

Nowadays, few are those who don't know her name among the Fenris mercenaries and fewer are those who underestimate her. But even with her growing renown, Eirún remains mostly an enigma. Not much more than her name known to most. Coming and going whenever she pleases, even now she still seems to take only a few specific jobs and always disappearing soon after completing them.

While it is hard to distinguish between the rumors and tales told about Eirún and what is true, her skill is beyond any doubt. Her true abilities, apart from her skill with her blade aren't well known but it is believed that is either a spellblade or... If you believe the rumors maybe something... older. Whether it is by magic or the usage of an aurite artifact, the ringing sound of her blade as she performs her sword-dance seem to mess with her opponents' senses and balance, making the already hard task of keeping up with her movements even harder. Some rumors point to the fact that she also seems to have some sort of control over the wind, but whether these rumors are merely poetic liberties taken by those who were enamored by her movements or true still remain to be seen.

Besides her skills with the blade, Eirún has shown herself to be more than apt at being a guide, especially within the wild regions of Fenris and Haldr. Her high tolerance to cold seems to make her unbothered by the changes in temperature despite her curious choice for clothing and she showed to be quite adept at hunting in the traditional Fenris manner, proving to be quite agile and silent, despite her choice of weapon. Contacting her and having her accept a contract might prove to be a challenge, but definitely worthy should the opportunity arise. She has also shown to take quite a few mage-hunting contracts... It is quite likely that there is some animosity between her and the mages of Luxu. Besides, having the blood of the old tribes running through her veins and keeping their old traditions alive, when coupled with the little that is known about her makes it clear she is an ally of the old tribes of Fenris.[/sup][/color][/quote][/cell][cell][sup][sup]
