Amalie was quite intent on what the machine was doing.  She was moatly focused on the door and her display, her focus divided between the two.  Then, a sharp bang from the door and a message telling her to havr a nice day and that the obstruction was cleared followed soon by the door lifting made her cheer in excitement, "It worked like a charm!"

This cheering was the disrupted by Khalisa's warning and feeling a small rock bounce off her shoulder as Amalie finally noticed the roof was about to fall in in them! "Ah." She mentioned for half a second.  "Aaah!" She then screamed as she scrambled to hastily remove the wires from her connector. It took a few seconds but she managed to do so.

Free from the doorpad, the engineer turned to the door and in a panic activated the thrusters on her suit to get her past the doorway where she didn't quite stick the landing and fell flat on her butt.  She only hoped that that the ceiling was more stable past the threshold.
