No one knows what he holds a grudge against, but he rarely works in the South for some unknown reason. That and he has shown to be good at navigating the wilds and cities of the South more than most. 

But he is far from being harmless. He is an expert at hiding in crowds and concealing his true motives and thoughts. While this is not a typical skill of a mercenary, and more of an assassin. He still can handle his weight in a fight if needed and guard a person from afar. Working better in groups than alone. He has also shown an aptitude with animals and seemingly can befriend one easily. Using this to his advantage when the opportunity strikes.
