He moved the full length of the movement, with it taking him significantly closer to the monstrosity, while circumventing the downwards strike. The other attack simply wouldn’t reach him, the angle of her right arm’s articulation such that it never made contact with him as he went so deep into close range that an attack that wasn’t either precise, blindingly fast, or designed to hit an area simply wouldn’t hit him.
