Her face is round with green eyes and light freckles over her reddish-white skin, burnt a lot from her time on Tau Ceti. She stands at 5' 9" and is well-toned but stocky. [indent][color=A1A1A1][b] Alice is what could be described as lightning in a bottle. She's energetic and dynamic, eager to be in the thick of things and absolutely hates to just be sitting around doing nothing or to just be doing purposeless busy work. For the most part, she wants to be doing things that are worthwhile and/or to actually be helping others. When she's curious about something or someone, she'll ask questions and seek to learn more from the source, much to the consternation of anyone who finds her too grating for their nerves. Unfortunately for them and her, she's not the best with typical social graces so she can be very unintentionally blunt in her questions or observations, even when she's trying to be polite and discrete. Her upbringing gave her an appreciation for old-fashioned ways of doing things. While she finds the tech and the wider universe fascinating, she often still prefers to do things by hand and off the computer. And of course, her main interest is the possibility of living aliens and how they might live within the present day. [/b][/color][/indent]

[*] Archeological Excavation Training: She's well trained in all the proper ways to handle and excavate historical artifacts and ruins as well as the proper ways to record any discoveries she does find, both primary skills for her discipline. The second aspect is what she is meant to adapt for when helping with other divisions' surveys.
[*] Tau Ceti Civilization Knowledge: While she did learn about all that is currently known and theorized about the Pluto Alien Ship and the Tau Ceti and Epsilon Indi civilizations, her major focus is the Tau Ceti Civilization as it's what she grew up learning about with her parents and what she choose to focus her own degrees on. Therefore, she can accurately call to mind any knowledge and guesses about the Tau Ceti. 
[*] Wilderness Survival: She's trained in how to take prepare for and to take care of herself and others within various wilderness scenarios. Though of course, her childhood has made it so the desert is the environment she's most familiar with surviving in.
[*] First-Aid Certification: She's fully certified to help with emergency medical care, figuring that it would help if she's caught with others in an excavation site.
[*] Fencing: There was a fencing club on offer. She had to take it. She's sometimes even played with adapting using her sword in the fencing style.

[*] A Modern Archeological Excavation Kit: Various tools used to carefully locate, extract, and clean artifacts found
[*] A Leather-Bound Journal with Pen: An old fashioned journal for her to write down any notes and brainstorm her ideas. Carries it, her excavation kit, and her first aid kit around in a brown satchel so that she can keep it on the field.
[*] A Historical Style European Longsword with Dagger: Mostly just decor for her cabin, but is supposed to be combat-ready. Of course though, there's little chance she would ever actually use it. It was a gift from her parents for getting her degree.
[*] An Up To Date First Aid Kit: She carries it around for emergencies on the field or if there should ever be a time on ship when someone needs help but she can't get them to the medbay right away.
[*] A Hard-Bound Photographic Catalogue of Known Alien Artifacts & Current Hypothesis: A book she keeps along for reference more than anything. Sometimes, flipping through a book allows her to find what she's looking for quicker than searching even the fastest computer. At the very least, it's a good book to fall asleep to when none of the fiction she can find in the Arcadian Database catches her eye.

[indent][color=A1A1A1][b]Alice was born within the deserts of Tau Ceti to the famous Alastair & Janet Knightley, the husband and wife team who made a name for themselves by being among the first archeologists to study the ruins on Tau Ceti. Her first memories then were of her loving though busy parents, the hot desert sands, and the crew working on archeological excavations, revealing wonders that no other human eyes had ever seen. Her parents filled her head with tales of the sort of lives the Tau Ceti might have lived along with more classical tales and Earth's own history. While her elder twin, Janus Alastair, soon tired of it all, Alice found it exciting and loved to work right alongside her parents in trying to learn more. She even helped them discover an old cavern after crawling down a hole due to curiosity, gaining her the nickname of 'Alice' and giving her a first taste of what it was like to be the first one to discover something. And she couldn't wait until she  discovered more.

It was with quite some consternation that she later learned that in order to be officially recognized, she'd need to leave the only home she'd known, a step she loathed. But with her parents' support and her twin by her side, she took that step and headed for her parents' alma mater to pursue a xeno-archeology degree. Janus quickly started hoping between degrees, making friends and seeking to find something new that wasn't archeology. Alice though kept pursuing her degree, despite the growing distance with her twin, and made some friends through the fencing club and when going through the first aid certification course though they quickly drifted away. She did finally graduate though in record time and planned to join her parents right away. But then the USF announced that crew were wanted for the Arcadian, a ship that would be going out to explore the galaxy. A galaxy that could be the place to find more alien artifacts and ruins. Perhaps even aliens themselves. And so, she quickly signed up and has now found herself the xeno-archeologist of the ship, off to seek out new life and new civilizations where no man had gone before.[/b][/color][/indent]

[*] Alice sometimes hums tunes as she works or taps out tunes when she's meant to sit still.
[*] Some of her favorite stories to read are fairy tales, medieval fantasies, and historical sci-fi
[*] She often bundles up even when things are only 50 degrees cold since she's used to the heat.
[*] She often has a hard time falling asleep at night, especially as she's used to when she was young and would have her parents and/or brother near her within the tent as she slept.
