She needed to be outside, so she darted around the green room and the countless cameras, ignored the occasional bystander with a microphone or notebook, and made for an exit. She nearly sent some guy wearing a red shirt into a wall by storming down the hall. Leah checked her phone and saw two messages. One of them was... Weird. She hadn't checked them since earlier last night before they all played a game of Which Super People Would [i]You[/i] Fuck? :tm: [hider=From She-Hulk] Been in court all day, sorry kiddo! She still had that talisman thing Strange gave her. She wasn't sure how in the mood she was for making them regret enchanting her, suddenly. Maybe later. But it did make her emotions come crawling back seeing the text. Did they fucking hack her phone? Magic made Vicky spark and bluescreen, maybe she needed to do that to her phone. There weren't many directional signs to find her way. She found a hallway where few people were, and assumed she was near the exit. But then she walked through a door and... It was a bathroom. She found the damn bathrooms, because of course this place just had to confound people. How did anyone [i]willingly[/i] find this one? She sighed, and sent She Hulk another message before putting her phone away. The rune of travel. She held it flat in her palm and thought on how to actually do this. When she tried growing flowers back in California, it was instant and easy. This was... A bit different. The stones felt right in her hand, they felt familiar in that strange way geological things always did, only [i]more.[/i] [color=ffcb00]"Show me the way out of here."[/color] The lines making up the symbol began to glow a brassy orange, and Leah felt something in it pulse. That felt familiar, and she assumed it was working, because the rune began to levitate a few inches above her hand. It spun around and the top of the symbol pointed elsewhere, like a compass. Leah was a bit surprised that it was that easy. Didn't people who really got into magic take longer than this for basic stuff? She could worry about that later. Leah followed the rune out of the hallway, down another hallway she could've swore she'd been to already, and then another several winding turns. A minute or so later, she found the main entrance. Then she found her way back out into New Orleans. It was warm out here, and the fresh air alone made her feel a bit less on edge. Leah sat down on a bench and just... Breathed. The glowing rune in her hand took to gently spinning in place, probably because she was right on top of where she wanted to go. The sounds of people walking and running, of skateboards clacking against pavement and the general buzz of the city grounded her. The fluttering in Leah's chest wasn't so bad here. It felt nice. She needed to think about things, but she wouldn't mind if She Hulk suddenly appeared behind her and bothered her endlessly. This wasn't the best day.
