[indent][i] Aaliyah chooses what she wants others to see when it comes to her personality. To adults, Aaliyah has an outsider air to her, she feels this is why many adults don't like her, or at least, are against her and that she is simply misunderstood. She is surprisingly, an approachable person, to those closest to her, they know Aaliyah to be the kind of person that is willing to get her hands dirty when it comes to getting things done her way but is loyal to those who do right by her and looks out for her friends even if it just to listen or be a shoulder to cry on, she can become protective over those she deems closest to her. Though helping them achieve certain... Ambitions is another matter, if she doesn't like something, She won't hesitate to let you know and sometimes may come of cold or to the point when doing so.

She is a confident and fearless individual who doesn't believe she really has anything more to lose than she already has, having taken up a "tough girl" persona to help shield the vulnerable pieces inside of her that were created once she was put into the foster care system, beleiving her family disowned her without a word. Because of this early-on exposure to abandonment, Aaliyah tends to keep strangers at a safe distance, making it incredibly difficult for anyone to see the real her that is somewhere still inside. To her, trust takes time and can take up to months to gain someone's friendship per her standards, as she is afraid that they might end up leaving her just as her family did, Just don't break it.

Growing up learning how to be a stubborn and determined individual, Aaliyah can also be a little foolish when it comes to making decisions, not always able to see the solution that is staring her right in the face. Her nature not to trust people and to stick to her ways has left her with little regrets - things she knows she could have prevented though. Regrets, however, tend to be something Aaliyah has deeply set on her shoulders.

A dense lover of music, Aaliyah is likely to listen to a wide variety of genres. She has realized that her taste in music for what she is in the mood for generally revolves around where her own mood is at, and gets lost in the lyrics of certain songs that speak to her on a level that no simple words can even begin to breach.[/i][/indent]

[indent][i]For most of her life, Aaliyah didn't really have a set of goals or aspirations. She had sily dreams when she was a litle girl. However when she went through a temporary phase of being focused on a goal, it was to one day own a gym of her own. [/i][/indent]

[indent][i]Aaliyah had pretty decent grades from public school education. she manage to complete a college course earning a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing and was working towards Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training. Work wise she has only managed seasonal odd jobs due to her recent activites.[/i][/indent]

[U]Crime[/U]

[indent][i]Aaliyah had several wallets in her possession, all contents still within them when she was arrested. When pressed on why, she stupidly told police she was a "collector of rare wallets". To say the least, it did not go down to well with them.[/i][/indent]

[U]Background[/U]

[indent][i]Aaliyah was born into a middle class family and is the only child of the family, her mother and father had met via a mutual friend. Aaliyah was a very active, she was however a difficult child from the moment she could stand on her own two feet, her early life certainly had its up and downs, especially tough at home. At a young age Aaliyah was unintentionally getting into trouble, it was not like she was getting trouble on purpose, but her difficult behaviour made it easier for other kids to blame the girl for things weather she did them or not. 

Because of that at the time, Aaliyah struggled to adjust and make friends, despite this, her grades were pretty solid. Unfortunately, life took a turn, there was a lot of… Issues that happened at home, it got so bad to the point that Aaliyah had to be taken away as there was no other next of kin available. She was too young to fully understand it. 

Lia; after a lengthy process went to a family through a foster to adopt, they took her in and was willing to work with her problems, they accepted her for who she was and made her feel welcome into their family, something she was not overly used to, after everything was signed for, she moved to London. The family had an older son called James, it took time to adjust, but he always seemed to have the time for her and eventually bonded, just prior to her teen years, the family was able to Adopt Aaliyah.  

As Aaliyah entered into her teen years, her knack for getting into trouble came back, mixing with the wrong crowd but this time it only increased and seemed to even get more dangerous for her. This new streak in her, of course caused a lot of stress for her ‘family’. Seeing his sister constantly in trouble upset James greatly, which hurt Aaliyah in the special place of her heart reserved for him, but she didn't dare show it - not if she wanted to keep her own "bad girl" persona up, but he managed to get through to her, focusing her energies elsewhere.

It was not long ago that Aaliyah met a set of siblings, Alexander and Jessica. Being the similar age she was, she got along quite well with Jessica and the two eventually became the best of friends. But what Aaliyah hadn't counted on was developing her first crush for Jessica's brother, Alexander, who also seemed to have a knack for trouble. The two of them hung out on occasions without telling Jessica knowing that it would put a strain on her friendship with her, and it did. During this time also, Aaliyah was in and out of seasonal jobs, one stood out in particular where she was accidently shut inside a walk-in freezer when collecting frozen stock, it was pitch black and the fans were full blasting ice cold air, she was in there for quite some time and was taken to hospital, the incident has had a lasting effect on her, being self-conscious and fear of being stuck in there or a situation similar to it again.

Aaliyah and Alexander were quite the pair when they began to hang out with each other more openly, she was nieve to let her defences down for him, what was considered Misguided actions to begin with turned into petty crimes – Public intoxication, shoplifting, pick pocketing and even the odd minor assault. It seemed to be all fun and games, until they got caught doing one such petty crime, Aaliyah took all the blame for him. 

This was when Aaliyah learned of his true colours, he Allowed her to take all the blame and then take off without a single care or thought, there was not enough evidence against him apparently. She only had herself to blame, she lost her small collection friends, she is now worried of abandonment by her adoptive family, but while not massively impressed of her actions, they still care and will continue to support her as always.

[indent][i]Thermokinetic Cryokinesis: Aaliyah has the ability to generate extreme temperatures of cold from her body. By absorbing heat from external sources, she can freeze molecules of moisture that hang in the air, creating a variety of effects. She could generate up to dangerously low temperatures from her body, Making her be freezing to touch and affecting the temperature of her surroundings, creating a chilling effect.

Aaliyah will be able to create constructs made of ice and icicles that can be used offensively and defensively. She maybe able to exhale cold mists capable of knocking people back or at least create a chilling fog. Aaliyah could potentially adjust her touch/skin to be a merely cool or chilly temperature, allowing for harmless physical contact.[/i][/indent]

Aaliyah is ambitextrous and skilled in massages, something her adopted mother taught her, however she is not perfect at it so don't go expecting her in a massage parlour or something. Aaliyah is also skilled in various forms/styles of Poi Dancing, Fire Poi being her favourite, she is pretty capable in parkour and skilled at pickpocketing, she is also pretty handy at darts, pool and singing.
