[@Remram] Anise simply nodded with satisfaction on the first two things that he said. Then, though… [sub]‘… Getting in my own way?’[/sub] she repeated what he said in a mutter while looking down into the ground, mostly to herself. Though, she then looked back to him as he kept talking. Then, on that she’s the kind that wouldn’t like to be handed an answer… ‘Darn straight,’ she said with another nod. ‘Yeah, let’s go,’ she agreed, before telling Meditite to keep an eye out for them with Psychic powers as they advanced through the woods. They wandered, stepping beyond old ruins of rocks and tightly grown forest. Still, beyond minding not to step on Vileplumes they were ignored by the denizens of the forest. So, when they had walked far enough, the trees opened up to clearing.

In the otherwise tight woods they’d passed through, here there was plenty of room. A sense of peace could be felt around this area. In the center stood a single, great, moss-covered rock. It extruded some form of magnificent energy. Before it, rested a single, large Pokémon, and two lower evolutions of it. The big, green dinosaur-like Pokémon with flower-petals around its neck lifted its head to gaze at the newcomers, and the two playing smaller version of it with leaves on the top of their heads stopped to look towards them curiously. The fragrance of its flower soothes and calms emotions, anyone who stands next to them will feel immediately refreshed. It uses this becalming scent to blunt a foe’s fighting spirit. Its breath has the power to revive dead grass and plants, making them healthy again. A forest with Meganium in it will never die. Pokédex Entry #152 – Chikorita, the Leaf Pokémon. It uses the leaf on its head to check for humidity and warmth, seeking towards sunlight. A sweet aroma spreads from its leaf, which calms those who smell it and creates a friendly atmosphere. A docile and friendly Pokémon, domesticated Chikoritas are commonly paired with children, but rare in wild. Loves to sunbathe. It would be reasonable to assume the feeling of peace in the area was partly due to the Meganium and Chikorita’s scent.
Confirming they weren’t looking like threats, the bigger Pokémon put down its head again and continued resting. ‘Oh. I’ve heard about this place,’ Anise made a noise of sudden realization. ‘It was considered sacred by the people of Stillwood’s past… a gathering spot, but also said to house a mystery…’ Anise said, as she tried recalling something she might have been told or read somewhere, frowning a little as she did.

Ancient Stillwoods
Perhaps once upon a time people had a settlement here. Regardless, it was a long time ago and now nature had reclaimed this place many times over. A pathway can be taken past ancient rocks, but here stands even more ancient trees. Like in Stillwood Village, the trees cover up the overhead so little light comes through, but there is enough light to see. The place is thick with trees, ruins, moss and rocks. Navigating can be a challenge, but fortunately the forest here is not particularly deep. However, the inexperienced would be advised against trying to engage any of the Pokémon around here… and to perhaps bring a gas-mask, because the air is so thick with pollen that some people might have trouble breathing.

1. Search the area. Maybe find a Pokémon that isn’t immediately obvious, look for items or inspect the ruins for interesting things? 2. Train Pokémon. Just be aware that most things here can probably eat you alive. 3. Specify. If you specify what you want to do, the GM will take it into account and tell the result. 4. Trigger random event. Force the GM to use his imagination to make a scenario for you. 5. Archie. The Gym Leader of Stillwood Village is somewhere in the forest. 6. Area Specific: Last Area. This ancient forest isn’t particularly deep. You could get to the end in moments if you ignore everything else. Question is, what’s there?
Connected areas: Stillwood Village.
