That is not the vibe I got at all, actually. Pretty sure the whole point of the artifacts was to get people running all over the place, have crazy hazards pop up here and there, have players and NPCS alike ambush each other, just like a real battle royale. Just like a real PVPVE RP. 

Given that we're all in fights and nobody bothered to check in for five months, maybe dragging it out isn't such a good idea. Not all of the participants even have character sheets, and while that was fine when Shinny was here to act as grand magistrate of the arena, I could see it being a problem without anyone to act as a judge.
