Ravaging, all-taking creatures who embrace the curses of the Plagues Author, abominable and twisted creatures warped by the overflow of the Abundance. It's hardly unfamiliar, but given what we have already been told---

Could it really be Abominations of Abundance? Or perhaps it is some new threat entirely, simply parallel to such beings?
