"Alice, pleased to meet you," she added, extending a hand to shake Alice's. "I'm Allison, also professionally known as Dr. Sorens—but please, I much prefer Allison." 

Alice was the first crewmember to submit her assessment, and early at that. Her name and photo had popped with the notification, leading Allison to conclude that she didn't like to have any tasks pending. But of course, that was nothing beyond a guess.

"Want to have some food together? I don't have much going on, and I don't know anyone else here. Safe to assume it'll remain that way for a while."
